Default Offline Address List not updating/downloading
I have a very mixed Exchange environment, consisting of 2007, 2010 and 2013.
Default Offline Address List {Version2, Version3, Version4} {\Default Global Address List}
Default Offline Address List (Ex2013) {Version4} {\Default Global Address List}
I have been getting Error when trying to redownload the OAB…
Task ‘myemail@contoso.com’ reported error (0x80070057) : ‘Sorry, something went wrong. You may want to try again.’
All my clients have been upgraded to Office 2016 and we are migrating users to the O365 cloud. Then decommissioning the on-prem servers, leaving two relays on prem.
We don’t have/use Public Folders.
1. Which OAB should I keep?
2. How do I / should I delete one?
3. Should I delete both and recreate a new default one? If so, how?
4. How can the current 0x80070057 error be resolved?
Thanks in advance.
