Why can't I get rid of record selectors on my form?
I have a form, which is a subform of another form. I want to prevent users from selecting records and especially from deleting records.
I have record slectors turned off on both forms. There is no code that turns record selectors on and yet the record selectors remain on.
Does anybody have experience like this? Any ideas how to solve?
By the way I have also set "allow deletions" under data settings set to no.

Thanks for your help. Appreciated.
Just curious why you want to turn of data selectors?
Datasheet view is superior to Continuous view, especially in later version of Access - with the 'Excel' like' arrows for filtering, sorting, etc.

Hi Joe,
I want to prevent users from deleting records and
trying to copy and paste records.
I prefer datasheet view for this form.
Do you have advice?
Should I post a specific question.

Well, you can prevent Deletes by setting the Allow Deletes property on the Form Property sheet to No.
As far as copy and paste, I suppose that is another story. I've never had that as a issue with any users. Most ... of my Datasheet views are read only, used for viewing and selecting records.
