Exchange 2013 with Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Pro x64 | Read and Marked Items loose Status and get Unread
Hello,
I have a very annoying problem.
Exchange is patched, Office is patched, Windows Server and Clients are patched.
A shared mailbox is connected with about 15 users.
Since about a week or so, read and marked items in Inbox are getting unread and unmarked by themself and automatic.
First I thought one external user is marking them unread manual, but no...we've checked this.
In Sychronisation-Errors I don't see why them are loosing status.
Can you give me a hint, which logs and traces I can search for?
Is there a microsoft hotfix available? And is this a known "feature"...?
I didn't find some in KB or forums across the internet.
Hopefully you can help me out with this problem.
Thanks.

OK, thanks.
I've never done and needed this before...is this a built in feature in Exch2013?

Thanks for the help, we've found out that a mobile user was setting the unread messages to unread again on his smartphone.
Thanks for sharing this info. It was really helpful!
