How to start a hyper-v in safe mode
What I already did
From the hyper-v manager started the VM and pressed F8. No luck
(Host Server 2012 VM Win 10)

The Advanced startup option was not in the Update & security > Recovery
When pressing shift while pressing the restart button it did restart.
This is a domain joined PC, I added my user to the local admin group (on top the fact I am a domain admin on the server). Nothing changed.
I logged in as a local user then Advanced startup option showed in the Update & security > Recovery

Thank you for your help
1. Open Hyper-V Manager.
2. Click Settings of the VM.
3.Click Automatic Start Action and then enter the Startup delay seconds.
4. Click OK to save the settings.
Then start the VM and try again
