Switch ports not working
Hello - we had an issue recently where an ISP doing an IP phone installation may have moved the cat5 cable from one port on our Cisco SF300-48P to another port. This was the cable that connected to the switch to the gateway and it may have been moved from GE2 to GE3. We got a call saying they couldn't get on the internet after the ISP had been onsite. The ISP didn't admit to moving the cable but I'm thinking that's what happened. It looks from the configuration that ports GE1-GE4 are all enabled but when connecting the cat5 cable from our gateway to port GE1, GE3 or GE4 I don't get a DHCP ip address from our server, and can't get online when setting a static LAN IP address on a PC. The only port that worked is GE2. I did update the firmware on the switch to no avail. I'm just curious if this may mean this switch is starting to fail or if there may be some other setting that controls whether this port works or not that I haven't found. Trying to determine where to start troubleshooting this.

Ok thanks! I'm able to login to the switch's web interface from a machine plugged into one of the other ports on that switch which are PVID 2. What method to manage the switch are you referring to that you are thinking we would need PVID 1 to access it for?
