asked on
which modules are active in VB6 project?
I've got some old VB6 code that's been maintained by a bunch of different people over the years (bet you've never heard that one before!). I know there are a handful of modules that are no longer used and I'd like to eliminate them from the active code folder. Short of going through them one by one, is there any way to have VB tell me which modules are called by another module and which ones are orphans?
There are tools out there that will point out unused subs and functions, etc., but I've never seen one that would show you unused modules. You could combine all the modules into one. It won't cost anything as far as code efficiency goes since all modules are loaded anyhow when one is accessed.
