When trying to edit user profiles on an Active Directory child domain the action would cause the Users and Computers MMC interface to hang before displaying the following Exchange Extension error: “The operation failed. ID no: 80004005 Microsoft Active Directory – Exchange Extension

80004005 is an Access Denied error. Is the time correct on all DCs and Exchange servers?

when I connect to test1.test.com from test.com ( which is DC) as you suggested it connects me to Builtin admin group of that server where I want to add members and which is having external relationship with test.com and not forest relationship.
the same I do for domains which are forest relationship works fine from my PC?
but when I do same from my computer which is domain joined joined it gives above error( attached).
or from member server FOR DOMAINS WHICH ARE external relationship

Without seeing the environment, it is difficult for me to provide any solution. However, I assume it might be due to your DNS resolution issue or any firewall blocking the traffic from your client or member system to remote DC. Check with your firewall team.

but I do connect to that DC from member server it just hangs with thee rror
Try this, browse any folder on that DC. Goto run and type:
\\dcname\c$
or
\\dcname\sharefolder
Let me know the result.

never mind, I have one last question if I see a child domain test1.test.com where can I find its parent domain
You can see domains in "Active Directory Domains and Trusts" but test1.test.com not necessarily a child domain
You can find it from the name itself. Like your child domain is test1.test.com then parent is test.com.
I can create a single forest/single domain called test1.test.com if I wanted
