NetApp space reclaim
I have a severe which uses snapdrive to connect a lunch. We have plenty of space at the lun.
I want to reclaim the space. There is an option at the snapdrive to reclaim the space. I never done that.
I would appreciate your help on it.

This will help if the LUN is thin provisioned. Do this during the quiet period (when there is no high I/O or backups). This will reclaim unused blocks on the Netapp volume, keep in mind that any changed blocks are stored in a snapshot if a snapshot takes place so you don't realize the full savings until the snapshots are also cycled out.

Thank you for your reply.
Will this reduce the LUN size at OS level?
Right now the OS disk size is about 750GB and plenty of free space (500GB) on that disk.
