By what software, did you adjust the files? Could you please do the same to other 3 files as attached?

Just passing by, but another good took for basic image editing is Paint.Net available here.

You must not have followed my instructions at your previous question carefully — I'm guessing that you didn't do the Image>Change canvas size step. For example, on the first one, I did not have to do a Resize/Resample — simply changed the canvas size in IrfanView to 256x256 and centered the image in it (it was 290x256, so basically just cropped the left and right sides):

The second image is 1422x800, which makes no sense as 480x800 — I'm guessing you mean 800x480. Anyway, the two steps in IrfanView (Change canvas size and Resize/Resample) could do that one, too, along with your other images. Regards, Joe
I did adjust the attached 4 files to 512x512 but I have still got problem that they're not 512x512. Why?

Joe,

Hello HuaMinChen

Maybe I can help you to understand a bit better.  If I have a grass soccer field and wanted to make it into a square, I need to plant a new strip of grass on one or both side lines because a soccer field is a rectangle, not a square.  It has the goals on the shortest sides and the side lines on the longest sides.

In Shaun Vermaak's videos he is doing this.  The background is white in the pictures, not green like a soccer field, so he is "planting" an extra white border to turn a rectangle into a square.  The area that contains a picture is called the "canvas".  He is pulling one side to increase the canvas size, and because the canvas is all white it works well.  Turning a very long thin image with a white canvas into a square is going to leave a lot of white space.  You cannot avoid this if you do not want the actual picture (stars, text, vehicles) to be squashed or stretched so much that they look stupid.

Are you creating a catalog or some other printed document for ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd?
If so, you can usually resize images and do other adjustments after you have inserted them into the open word processor document.  This might actually be easier for you.
