Windows 7 Professional
HI All,
I have an HP Elitebook 820 G2 which have Windows 7 Professional installed. When I lock my screen and then unlocked it and start to typing on Word, Outlook or any other program, my keyboard is starting to react as if i am pressing Short cut keys and then i cannot write anything. After that i lock the screen again and unlock I am able to write without any issues.
i check the keyboard settings and all seems to be fine and did Windows update. Nevertheless, the problem still persists.
Can you help to solve this issue?
Thank you.

The Windows Key can also be the culprit but it does sound like a key is stuck down.

@mallony - Thanks and I trust all is resolved now.
From your description it seems the computer thinks there is a CTRL key being held down.
