automatic white space created after a certain number of characters entered into text field
I have noticed on a few websites (can't remember exactly which ones now) that when typing in a phone number, the input field actually automatically creates a gap or white space while typing. So, if your number format is xxx-xxx-xxxx, then when you type xxx it automatically creates a gap when you enter the next digit.
So, it is actually impossible to type xxxxxx as it creates the space after the third digit automatically.
I apologize if my topic choices are not the correct topics, but I am not actually sure how it is done?
