I've been living in an ancient world, still using Photoshop CS2. Its time to upgrade, but I have many PSD files created in CS2. My question is a simple one (hopefully).

Will my PSD files be compatible with Photoshop CC? Will I be able to open and edit my old PSD's in CC?

It is difficult to recommend any upgrade based on the features.

You can visit the following link to get more idea about that :

Yes, it will. I have a bunch of old PSD too and they open fine.
The thing I am uncertain of is collaborating between versions but in your case, you will not be doing this because you are upgrading

As a rule, new versions from Adobe will open files created in previous versions.

The reverse is not true: if you save a file with a new version, you won't be able to open it in the old version of the program.
