How could I go back a fiscal year for a given date?
My organization use the format of the Fiscal year as follows:
'FY2015', 'FY2016', 'FY2017'
I need to get these values automatically using SQL Query

Looks like you have a couple of working solutions, but if you'd like a design that specifically handles fiscal years check out SQL Server Calendar Table: Fiscal Years, where 'back a fiscal year for a given date' can have multiple meanings and can be accomplished by the appropriate JOIN.
