Folder location - Windows 10

Okay, I am about to pull my hair out.
A client just set up a new computer with Windows 10. We can not get the folders "Documents" and "Pictures" under "This PC" to keep from pointing to OneDrive. I have made her user account local, un-synced and un-linked OneDrive and went as far as removing OneDrive to no avail. I have tried to change the location of "Pictures" (which is not even available for "Documents") but it won't let me (see attached). I have "Googled" everything I can think of.

Not normal. NONE of my own or client machines do this.

Are you sure the user's One Drive account has been turned off?

How did the user get to Windows 10? Upgrade or new?

I know John...I've never seen this! Brand new computer. One drive was turned off then I completely uninstalled it. The folder still wants to point to OneDrive, even though it has been uninstalled!

This shows how the "Documents" folder points to OneDrive...Can's change the location!

I think they are using the One Drive Documents folder where they should be using the Top Level Documents folder. On the same machine (mine) the two Document folders point to different locations. There is likely nothing wrong. Just use the correct folder

We have set Quick access to the correct folder but under "This PC" the document and picture folders only point to OneDrive and I would like them to point to the User's Documents and Pictures.

If "This PC" is the main computer, documents should point to the main (not One Drive) document folder.

Make sure One Drive is OFF, shut the computer down (power off), start up and check.

Also for Documents under This PC, I see you CAN change the location. Just go to the Location tab in Properties. and change the location.

"This PC" is the main computer...the default name in Windows 10.

The documents and pictures listed under "This PC" should point to the User Folder but do not...they point to the OneDrive location. Desktop, Downloads, Music and Videos under "This PC" point correctly to the User's folder.

I have un-synced and un-linked OneDrive and then as a last resort uninstalled OneDrive...I have rebooted several time trying the above fixes.

As I indicated in my first post (before I uninstalled OneDrive) - I have tried to change the location of "Pictures" (which is not even available for "Documents" as you can see in the above post "Document Properties") but it won't let me and I get this error message. Here is the message I get -

Okay John...I'll give it a go! I see where you are going...it may be a corrupt User Account!

That is a possibility. The user may have screwed up the account using the new machine and playing around.
