Server Rebuild after 2 drive in raid crashed

I need help with restoring a windows 2008 R2 server that has 2 drives in a raid 5 that crashed.  I have a good backup of the System state but not sure how to restore it.  This server was a domain controller and I have another server that is still up and running.  The server that crashed has AD, DNS and was a DHCP server.    Any help would be great.

Does your backup server support bare-metal restore?
If yes, create the recovery media, boot the system from the media (after the HDDs in the array have been fixed, ofcourse)
and recover system.

If not, you'll have to load the base OS, reinstall the backup software, and restore via the backup/recovery agent.

So as long as I have the server name the same and IP 's for the NIC's the same I can load base OS, install the Barracuda backup agent and restore the system state.  After the restore what will be installed on my server?   Does the system state bring back DHCP, DNS, AD?

DHCP, DNS & AD should for part of your system state backup as you're running 2008 server.  Have a look at the following article, it should help you: http://www.dell.com/support/article/uk/en/ukbsdt1/SLN156956/en
Recovered systems don't always function as they did prior to failure, so be prepared for the potential of this just being a step on the road to the full solution.

Worst case scenario, rebuild the server and attach the backup as a VHD and pull necessary data you need to rebuild.
Make sure that in the future you don't use RAID 5. Rather use RAID 6 or 1, or 10. RAID 5 is obsolete and not reliable at all. Besides that, regularly check your servers' arrays for health, so you can change bad disks in time.

do I need to install all the server roles before actually restoring system state? should I join this server to the domain first?
id go system state first.
all files protected by Windows File Protection (WFP). Active Directory (on a domain controller only). Sysvol (on a domain controller only). Certificate Services (on certification authority only).    these should all come back with Sys state

I did a successful restore of the system state. AD DNS DHCP did not come back nor is the server on a domain.

Looks like I got everything back up except a couple things.....   I am no longer able to print from this server...  I tried removing and installing printers again... remove and installing the Print services.. I keep getting the following error message...   I am also missing my ADUC icon, DNS, DHCP ect..etc.. under Adminstrator tools.   See attached for printer error.

Did both disks fail at the same time? Or is it a case of the first disk failed but nobody noticed until the second one failed?

Dell tech was replacing a bad drive....  Other drive went down as he had Disk 3 out of system.  Originally thought that the dell tech removed both drives .. Checked the controller logs and he indeed only removed the one drive... Fluke I guess.   Any ideas why I cannot print?
Try checking through device manager for duplicate devices and uninstall them.
It's a "feature" you get with RAID 5, not a fluke. That's why one doesn't use RAID 5 anymore.
