Excel Undo function unavailable or severely limited since reinstalling Office
Hello,
What would cause the Undo function in Excel to frequently be unavailable?
I recently installed a new C Drive and also upgraded to Windows 10 (from Windows 7). In the past, there always seemed to be dozens of recent steps available to undo in Excel. However, since re-installing my software, I commonly cannot undo fairly straightforward and very recent steps. Ctrl+z has no effect and the Undo shortcut icon in my QAT is grayed-out.
As was the case prior to the upgrades, I primarily use MS Office 2010 apps except for OneNote in which case I use v 2013. However, I have both suites (2010 & 2013) installed.
Is there a setting change or some other step I can take to restore the Excel Undo function I had previously?
Thanks

running Macros can Deactivate the undo.
