Excel Drop Down List
Is there a way to create a Drop down list that when I choose one field it automatically fills in other cells... for example I have a list of Hard Drives with Part Number and price... I want to be able to choose a drop down from a column for "Drive Description" that automatically fills in the Part Number and Price columns associated with that drive. I am using Excel 2016
Can you supply a sample workbook please?

Sheet 1 has the fields to fill in. Sheet 2 has the list of data for the drop down

VLOOKUP is the answer.... Thanks everyone!!!
You're Welcome Henery! Glad I was able to help
Pleased to help
I've receive a message from Dan. He wants the Lookup to be based on the description, this means using a different formula. VLOOKUP can only look to the right of the Lookup Column so it needs InDEX?MATCH. See amended example, VLOOKUP is still valid for the Price

Interesting thing Roy!
Probably you didn't read the description carefully and modified the original requirement. And then Dan accepted your answer as an accepted solution which confused me but.....
Hats off to both of you. :)

Yeah.... Sorry about that... I thought it would be a simple fix on my end to change some parameter which is why I did not say anything initially.... Thanks again Roy
Never mind Dan!
As you could see, I and Shums provided you the answers which addresses your original question, why didn't you pick one of those as an accepted answer?
Please be aware that you need to be fair in picking the right answer and need to recognize solutions given by all the experts which you didn't and that is known as ignoring answers and if you continue this in your future questions also, experts may ignore your question also, not sure about other experts but at least I ignore the askers who don't respond fairly.
Also please remember we all are volunteers here and work for free.
Thanks.

Understood Neeraj. It was an oversight on my part and I did not intend to ignore or slight you. My apologies.
