Copying from excel I am getting extra text

I copy the two cells below and paste them into a text editor.

     A                  B
ping -a       172.29.16.15

The result:

ping -a .asdm172.29.16.15

Any idea why copying from excel I get that extra .asdm pre-pending cell B??

Can you attach a copy of one of these spreadsheets?
there could be an embedded Line Feed or CR in the text.
change the row Height of the cell to view the whole text

I've uploaded an example

In latest test I'm seeing the ping -a       172.29.16.15 go into the text document but the ping -a .asdm172.29.16.15 is seen when pasting into a CMD window. So perhaps the problem is more specific - pasting into CMD?
I'm not experiencing the same thing when I try.  I opened this excel file, highlighted 1A and 1B then ctrl+C, opened Notepad then Ctrl+V and I'm seeing both cell's data with a tab between them and no extra data.  I tried the same thing using TextPad with the same result.

Could it be something with the text editor you are using?

Interesting that characters get pasted to powershell and CMD but don't show up pasting to text editor!
I tried typing directly into the text editor the same sequence apparently as what had been pasted - then copied to buffer and pasted to CMD. This went in no problem.

Not sure how that worked - but it did. Thanks!
