How do I get rid of these double lines in my Word doc?
I somehow got these double lines in a Word document and I can't get rid of them.
I have no idea what they are or how they got there, but I haven't been able to select
them so I can't get rid of them.
Any suggestions for getting rid of them in this document ?
I know I can go to the extreme of starting a new Word document, but I'd like to know how to kill these infinitely parallel buggers.

To which "double lines" are you referring? If it is the red squiggly underline then turn spell check off. That may be creating the problem.
Is it something in the document footer perhaps?

That was it, Paul. I have no idea how it got in my doc, but when I set borders to none it went away. Thanks.
of course - good stuff - you're welcome
