Keyword email search on Exchange 2010

hi everyone,

I am trying to search for an email communication between users using a keyword search. It needs to search across all mailboxes and information stores on the Exchange server. Could you please let me know if this can be done natively on the Exchange server or any third party tool required? I am using Exchange enterprise 2010, SP3 and office 2010 professional.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Can you not use a message ID if it's the same message or are you looking for staff communicating between themselves?

Get-MessageTrackingLog -MessageId “MESSAGE_ID” | ConvertTo-Html > C:\report1.html

That would give you the message if you have the ID

I don't know the message ID, it could be any messages with a specific keyword in the subject line or in the body of the message. The Exchange tracking logs are only kept for 30 days.
