Google profile picture

Hi there,

i'm in a pickle here. I renamed a user account in Google, when the new user logs in it shows the old user's profile picture at the gmail log in box even though I changed the profile picture in gmail, i changed a Picture setting in the profile to No Picture and checked all possible google apps to make sure that if they have a profile picture is displays the new one. The interesting part is that when logged in to any google app the updated picture is display on the upper right corner of the screen.
I have checked every possible place I can think of but still don't get why\how when the new users logs in the old's user profile picture comes up..

One more interesting point\question: When i click the profile picture on the upper right corner and select Change i have the option to add change change photos but see the picture from the old user, is there an way to delete those pictures? I can add but i can't delete..

Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated.
