I agree with the above. It is a waste of time. Donate the old iPads to charity (they are normally happy to get such items), and purchase new iPads with new IOS.

I agree with both of you. &nbsp;I have around 100-150 of these and am going to do that, but would like to replace 20 systems with different internals if possible as I can get wholesale parts cheaply.

I have several A1432 ipads that do not support iOS 10. &nbsp;They only update to 9.35. &nbsp; Is there any model of a different iPad logic board that can be put into this A1432 model to replace this board that doesn't support iOS 10 to get it to upgrade to iOS 10? &nbsp; I don't like the thought of disposing these iPads when the digitizers and other features work fine. &nbsp;Any ideas would be appreciated.

iOS is a mobile operating system developed by Apple; it is a derivative of the Mac OS X desktop operating system, with which it shares many (but not all) common frameworks and other components. These include Cocoa Touch, the Mach/Darwin/XNU kernel and code from the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD). Each iOS application runs in its own secure sandbox to prevent altering other applications, the operating system, or any other data.

iPad is an iOS-based line of tablet computers built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. The iPad includes built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity on select models. An iPad can shoot video, take photos, play music, and perform Internet functions such as web-browsing and emailing. Other functions – games, reference, GPS navigation, social networking, etc. – can be enabled by downloading and installing apps.
