Google Chrome new tab content.
The first image is what things looked like after opening a Google Chrome browser new tab.
The second is the way it is today.
This started after downloading YTD Video Downloader. I looked in the program list and saw two new programs. One was spigot I think and another was some background ant-malware. I removed both of those. Same as if I had downloaded Java and got the Yahoo toolbar. I'd delete the tool bar.
System restore might fix it but it would take me back to before I got the new version of the Video Downloader. That old version needed updates.
I did a Malwarebytes scan and the results are zero.
Any Chrome settings that are causing the difference between the two images?

I don't know what might have made such a change, but uninstall/install would have reverted it back.
