Is there a way to get a feed of Google search results?
When I go to Google.com and search for "tulsa events", google returns a very pretty scrolling slideshow of events in the area above the "normal" search results. Is there a way that I can somehow capture these via an API, preferably as an RSS feed?
ASKER
Yes - this is what I'm currently doing. But I was hoping to pull the information from an "already gathered" source, rather than recreate it myself.
Ah. Then I would contact Google to see if they have a nice method of letting you have what you're asking for.

Any other options? I'd already read through everything I could find online, and I wouldn't have any clue how to contact them.

This solution is only available to members.

I have a feasible, alternative option if you're interested.
Go to https://www.experts-exchange.com/headlines.jsp
Click Update Resources
Uncheck the default options listed on both pages and click Done. (This will help you see plainly the RSS feeds you add from Tulsa.)
The page should refresh.
Click Update Resources again.
Go to http://www.newson6.com/story/7566626/rss-feeds
Click Local News RSS feed > Get http://www.newson6.com/category/208401/newson6com-news-rss?clienttype=rss
Copy paste that link into the Add an RSS Feed > Add.
Click Done.
The page should refresh and give you the Local News from http://www.newson6.com
You could also do the same with other websites from Tulsa. For example, go to http://www.tulsaworld.com/site/rss/#howrss
Go to the 'News' area (alphabetical) and click the News link.
Get http://www.tulsaworld.com/search/?q=&t=article&l=25&d=&d1=&d2=&s=start_time&sd=desc&c[]=news*&f=rss
Add that URL in https://www.experts-exchange.com/headlines.jsp just like the aforementioned example and you should get another RSS feed from http://www.tulsaworld.com
It takes a bit of playing around with, but if done right you can personalize your own RSS feeds right here on Experts Exchange. I do this myself with ESPN NFL, Reddit and use the CNET option that is provided by default.
The examples above are just me taking a stab at showing you how to curate content you want to see. You can search Google 'tulsa events rss feed' and peruse through the results there.

That's what I did to show you those aforementioned examples.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
