What is max size of delivery Queue for Exchange 2013 server?
I am experiencing a problem with a Journal mailbox. Emails that should be sent to that mailbox are just stacking up on the Journal delivery queue on the Exchange server. The issue is with the Journal mailbox and will be corrected once the Enterprise Vault application is functioning as it should. The error message on the mail delivery queue is "Recipient thread limit exceeded" I know I can make some changes to the MSExchangedelivery.exe.con fig file but since some emails are slowly getting through and the issue should be corrected tomorrow morning, I am waiting before I make any changes.
My questions is - Is there a limit to how large a mail queue file can get or a maximum of emails in that queue? I have plenty of space on the mail box server for the Queue to grow before it runs out of space but am not sure if there are any internal limits on size or # or messages. If so, how can I increase this?
Thank you,

However, for organizations using Exchange 2013 or 2016, these two keys need to be added to the MSExchangedelivery.exe.con
