Blackberry Link was never written to work with Windows 10, plus it was last updated in 2015. Do you use Apple devices?

BB did publish an article that's a workaround (problem is that it'll break iTunes syncing because you're messing with one of its files):
which blackberry device are you using? bb link for os 10 (bb passport) worked on my windows 10 notebook (although i didn't use it in the last 3 or 4 months).

i mean to remember that I had to switch off both Bluetooth and WIFI at the bb in order to get it running.

Uninstall BB link completely and look for any registry information pertaining to Blackberry would be my best guess so then you can reinstall the workstation with the problem and then reinstall the program. Hope it works.

The solution seemed to be to uninstall BB Link, uninstall Symantec SBE 12.1.6, go through the registry to make sure BB Link was gone, then re install BB Link.  It worked so, then reinstalled Symantec, and the BB Link program started.  There were a couple of set up issues that needed to be resolved after the program actually started when the option to sync contacts and calendar was envoked.
