WMI - Issue Server 2012 R2

Hello,

I am using Solarwinds and trying to setup WMI/Polling from many servers and would like to know how to do this globally from either a policy or any other way. I have mange to setup on a few Server 2008 successfully, however on my 2012 servers I am unable to connect from Solarwinds. May be a firewall issue on 2012 Server. Once I can fix, I'd like a plan to deploy out to many servers at one time. How can I achieve this?

So far I have done the following.

1.) Open WMI Control Properties (Computer Managament|Services and Applications|WMI Control)
2.) In the security tab, select the Root namespace, and press the Security button.
3.) Click the Advanced button in the Security for Root window.
4.) In the Advanced Security Settings for Root window, click the Add button.
5.) In the Select User, Computer, or Group dialog, enter the name of the account you'd like to use and click the OK button when done.
6.) In the Permission Entry for Root window, ensure that Apply to: This namespace and subnamespaces is selected, and under Permissions allow, Execute Methods, Enable Account, and Remote Enable. Click the OK button when complete.
7.) Click OK to close all windows.
 Half way there!
8.) Add your account to the following groups: Distributed COM Users, and Performance Monitor Users.
9.) Test your WMI monitor / query from within Orion. I had to use credentials of the form DOMAIN\accountname, as opposed to accountname@domain for this to work.

2008 Servers work but 2012 seems to not work. I also want to know how I can deploy out to a list of servers.

 THANK YOU SO MUCH!
