.lee file containing data

Hi Experts,

I have included a link of a file containing data that I want to extract (I could not upload the file here because it is not an accepted format - sorry), but I have no idea how to open this kind of file. I have searched on the internet and could not find anything, so I thought to ask here as a last resort.

Link to file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mvbqpaz0ke8kta2/E0000000-20170223.lee?dl=0

Any suggestions?

what kind of software or system produced the file?
According to this site:
http://www.solvusoft.com/en/file-extensions/file-extension-lee/

Your file is probably a Clarion Topspeed Data file format

We are 81.4% confident that your file is the Clarion Topspeed Data file format, primarily associated with the TPS file extension. Other possible, less-likely file formats include Adobe PhotoShop Brush ABR (9.0%), MacBinary 2 header LEE (9.0%), Corel Photo Paint CPT (0.3%), Unknown (0.3%).

Hi aikimark, thanks for you response. The reason I am looking into this is because I want to convert the data to another format (ultimately SQL). You are 100% correct in saying that this has to do with Clarion. I have other files in the .tps format, but the .lee file contains specific information that I am looking for, which is not contained in one of the other .tps files.

I do have software (claview) to view the .tps files, but cannot seem to view the content of the .lee file in such a way that is exportable/convertable. I am not familiar with Clarion, so should I be able to open this file, but missing something?

I have tried FileViewPro (the site you referred to), but upon opening the file I get the message "This type of .lee file can only be opened in native mode. You are using the DEMO version of FileViewPro - please register now to unlock all program features". I am not keen to spend money to possibly open a file or have it opened in a way that is not convertable at all, so I don't want to go down that route.

Thanks for the help. I never realized I could just rename the .lee file and then view it as a .tps
