Exchange 2010 - Email address sending emails but is not in sent items

I use GFI Mail essentrials tro monitor and filter emails.  It has a  realtime logging feature where i can see the email address to and from and the subject and then the filtering result.  I see that 1 mailbox keeps sending emails (very suspicious emails, SPAM type emails with profanitity in them)  when i look at the mail box sent mails none of these email are in the sent folder.
GFI tell me that someone is spoofing but I not sure how this could happen unless our server is allowing relaying.  I have checked I do not believe it is?
I think it could be a currupted mailbox, but thought I ask to see if anyone has thsi type of experience?

Exhcnage server is 2010...

Can I stop those email from looking as if they are sending from our exchange server?

Seem like the password fixed the entire problem.  Sometime the simpilist solution is overlooked.

It been almost 1 hour with nothing being sent from the email address.

Great glad to hear it! Might not be a bad idea to looking into a password policy to force the users to reset it every 60, 90. or 120 days so as to try and prevent situations like that.
