Inserting Operation Type (Insert/Update/Delete) in SQL Server History Temporal Table
I am using SQL Server 2016 and have just started using temporal tables for auditing purpose. However, I am not getting a way to insert the operation type in the history table along with the version of the row. i.e. I want to have one column, which would contain whether the record was updated/inserted/deleted?
I have tried searching on internet and went through many articles and documentation but have not found anything yet.

@Scott that's what I was thinking too. Probably this is the only doable solution as of now. Thanks.
