problem with deleted user
Hi
I had deleted a Person Document from our corporate names.nsf but person is still available if you create a new mail.
It is not in local names since i searched for her and not found.
This happens to several user, they do not have this person in their own names database but she is still available in new mail To: field

Thanks for your answer.
I do not know what version of Lotus you have but i do not see any of those buttons/menu you show in the screenshot.
We are using version 8.5.3 at Lotus Notes Client and Domino Servers.

I guess you still have other mails sent to or received from the deleted user. Names are cached by the Notes client.
The solution is right here: https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23921897/How-to-clear-e-mail-address-cache-in-Lotus-Notes-8.html

Thanks Sjef
I already search in local names.nsf and there is no mention of that user.
Indeed, if you use any client from any user it remains raising, even on user that never had contact with deleted one.
This deleted user is not Recent contacts
Cheers

And in the hidden $People view, in the names.nsf file? Do a Full Text search for a complete word, e.g. I had a wrong mail address like tomdickarry@something.abc, so: search for tomdickarry or tomdicka*
If you say it happens for all your users, you have to check all the global Address Books (could be multiple, or cascading).

It might be in the field InternetAddress, a field that doesn't seem to be modifiable in Notes without the help of some agent. Strange...

yeah, it is strange by all means. There is no person document in corporate names nor inside its replicas.
Name is full name (john doe/MAIN/OD/Somename)
If you start to write the name, it does not complete until a few letter before the end.
Mail is sent! After 24 hs we receive a notification that the message cannot be delivered which, as far as i know, should be almost instantly.
Also, since i don't get error on send , her name is shows in Recent Contacts. Deleting from it does not solve the problem either.

I only found my document with the typo after opening the view ($People), by opening my Address Book, clicking Recent Contacts, then clicking View from the menu, then Ctrl-Shift and hold these keys, click Go to..., then you'll see the hidden views. Click the ($Person) view to open it. Now search for the words John Doe (or something else that's wrong).
Indeed, if it's a full name, it won't be in the InternetAddress field. Shouldn't be, at least. Sheesh, this is a tough one!
An option: make a copy of the names.nsf database, add a Full Text search index, add a view that contains ALL documents, open that view in Notes and do a search for John Doe.
Another option: make a copy of the names.nsf database, remove all users, servers, groups, the lot. How many documents remain? (See the Database Properties). If there are known documents that are unlikely to contain the person, ditch them. Then search the rest of the documents one by one.
(I still assume that you have only one global Address Book, and not several... and that your CRM application in Notes isn't defined as an Address Book database...)

Well, you are an amazing work tryung to solve this. Thanks is not enought!!
I already had did what you said in first option (hidden $People view)
Two other options does not found any document for that person, i start to think that she really is a Ghost in the Machine
See this:
In example, name is: Maria Andre Di Pietro/AUX/OU/OU/Pharmaceu tics
If i create a new mail and write in To field: Di Pietro and push ENTER...
She is not found.
If i create a new mail and write in To field: Maria Andre Di and push ENTER...
It completes the name Maria Andre Di Pietro/AUX/OU/OU/Pharmaceu tics without problems

Could you try the same with the $NamesFieldLookup view?
