CRM 2016 Custom Reports using Visual Studio 2012 and FetchXml
I am trying to create an SSRS report using Visual Studio 2012 for an online version of CRM 2016. I have looked at several sites and they refer me to older versions of Visual Studio, BIDS, SSDT, etc
I have tried creating a Report Project in VS 2012 and adding a fetchxml datasource but cannot get it to appear.
Can someone walk me through adding a fetchxml datasource to connect to my CRM 2016 online server (https://apolloconsulting.crm.dynamics.com/) or whatever I need to create datasets for the report?
I use Visual Studio 2012 all the time for building SQL Server reports in CRM on-premise
Thanks
