I've inherited a bunch of underperforming SSRS reports. &nbsp;I've rewritten the data sets for the report I'm currently working on, but when I attemp to preview the report it gives me a message that refers to textbox27. &nbsp;I've used the find feature to find the control in the code view of the rdl, and tracked it backwards to a tablix3, but I cannot find a tablix labeled &quot;tablix3&quot;, and I have clicked on every text box I can find in the report design view.<br />

Is there a way so select a control name, in Access this would be in the properties dialog, and have VS highlight the control?<br />

Is there a way to stack multiple controls on top of one another, and make it difficult to view a control in design view?<br />

Is there any way delete a control (tablix) yet have it linger in the rdl code view?<br />

Find control on SSRS report

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a server-based report generation software system from Microsoft. It can prepare and deliver a variety of interactive and printed reports and is administered via a web interface or its web service. Its web services interface also supports the development of custom reporting applications. Finally, SSRS can also be integrated with SharePoint. SSRS competes with other business intelligence tools, most prominently Crystal Reports.
