It depends. Generally, so long as the drives have equal electrical characteristics you could be fine.

Some vendors check that the drive is their make and so if that is the case you would have to use an OEM drive

Block size: both 512-byte

What do you mean by qualified?
"Qualified" means the vendor will support the drive
