Thanks for the info and your help. I finally did get a call back from a senior person at MS, and actually they encourage the aggressive practices of their partners. &nbsp;It is really a gray area, and almost borderline illegal. &nbsp;But MS did this years ago with Novell. &nbsp;This is what they do sadly.<br />
Companies that fell for this ended up spending thousands of dollars on staff hours to do an audit that was ot required because of scare tactics. &nbsp;Keep your eyes open

I have a client that received a letter stating they need to under go a License Verification Process.<br />
Small Org, maybe 40 desktops, OEM copies of Windows, some OEM office etc. &nbsp;It looks as if MS wants to assign a partner to do the audit, we are a partner so going to find out if we can. Question - anyone aware of any tools that can query each desktop and produce a report of OEM license/licenses activation codes of all computers on the network and dump it to an excel sheet?<br />
Any info/suggestions would be appreciated.<br />
