SEO and 301 redirect - site not indexed by Google, Yahoo, Bing

We have a website that comes up as unindexed in Google, Bing or Yahoo when entering it in this site:

Our developer set up a redirect.  The site above says our title is "301 Moved Permanently" and the Sample of the site content is:"10.0 (Ubuntu)".  The site is built with Wordpress and we have used Yoast to include keywords and snippet etc.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what to do to solve it?

Many thanks in advance.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check the .htaccess this is the place he should have set it, so you can edit it
if there is no redirection into the .htaccess you may want to check cpanel, plesk or webadmin there are some place to  set redirection
You better contact your dev for more help.

That site you referenced is not accurate, it is completely broken from what I can tell. I put a domain into it that I know is indexed and it still says it is not indexed.

You can check actual indexation with the "site:" operator.

For example:

The results show that there are over 1M pages indexed:
site operator search
Compare that to the broken tool you referenced:
