Editting Multiple Objects in AD
I have a question concerning what the most efficient way to edit an attribute on a large number of Active Directory User Accounts is.
I have a large number of user objects that I need to change one of the account attributes on, however all of the objects are nested inside a fairly extensive OU Tree. If I select multiple users, select properties, I can accomplish what I need, however this seems to only work on objects that are in your current view. If I use the search feature to return all the users, the properties right-click is greyed out and I can not do this.
Thanks for the suggestions.

True, but we often see users spending hours and hours trying to do something in Powershell that can take less than a minute using a functional and flexible GUI. And, Hyena has a 30-day evaluation that is fully functional for this reason.
I tried to do this in ADAC, which does support modifying properties for multiple users, but I could not find a way to have it traverse into multiple sub-OUs, but I gave up after a few minutes.
