AD Domain Rename Checklists. Server 2008 R2 and Exchange 2013

Hello, I am just wondering if there is any updated checklist to rename a forest/domain.

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc816631(v=ws.10).aspx

We have Server 2008 R2 as Domain Controllers and Exchange 2013

Thanks for your help,

Holly shut, really ?  Well, we did already changed our primary smtp address to @newdomain.us from @olddomain.org. Although, @olddomain.org stills present as the secondary smtp address. Now, we need to change the internal stuff from @oldomain.pvt to @newdomain.pvt. Although, we do not have any mailboxes with @oldomain.pvt, only @newdomain.us and not @newdomain.pvt. So, not sure how will exchange have an impact with the domain rename ? Thanks for your help.

Hmm, well one of our coworkers who believes he knows it all. He said that Exchange 2013 is not attached to AD 100% as other versions of Exchange. It is his call, and i know the domain rename is going to be chaotic. Anyhow, do you have any up to date checklist for a domain rename ? The link i posted seems to be old. Or any thoughts, tasks in advance I would really appreciate. Thanks.
