I have Win10 1607 clean install with an Intel Pro 1000 NIC, I've just installed the Hyper-v feature, when creating a Virtual Switch (external network type) it just hangs 'Applying Changes'.<br />
<br />
A new 'unknown device' appears in device manager but never moves from the ! icon.<br />
Event 1001 is logged pnpdrivernotfound<br />

Ive tried creating the V Switch using powershell and using a different NIC, same error.<br />

Hyper-V is a native hypervisor; it can create virtual machines on x86-64 systems and supersedes Windows Virtual PC as the hardware virtualization component of the client editions of Windows NT.
