MS Access 2012, Split Form
I've got all of my fields on the split form.
I want to be able to Create New Record.
I have a button that adds NEW Record.
Changed some boxes from TXT to Combo Box on my Detail.
Need to see current value and also be able to select from drop down.
I can now select from drop down on say field ABCD.
But by default the field is NULL (even though the record has value)
Then when I select from drop down, I see all records in the bottom of my Split Form (on the datasheet)
all rows get that selected from drop down value.
I want that field to have the original value from that record and when I hit drop down I can change it.
Or when I hit NEW Record I'd be able to select from that drop down.

Explain the problem, what to do, what to expect, and what do you get.
When go to a new record, controls get the default values you already set.
You need to add some code to set the default value of the field before creating a new record.
