Exchange/Outlook 2010 Calender conflict
I have a situation where conflicting meeting requests are placed on a resource calendar. I've applied the solution described here https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/c5be5d0d-ea6c-4e3e-af7a-bb2cbd125c40/exchangeoutlook-2010-calender-conflict-issues?forum=exchange2010, but only get a decline e-mail message.
Is there a way where Outlook would not allow to book a conflicting meeting in the first place to avoid the confusion?

Is outlook in Online or Cache mode? I would suggest going to OWA, and checking for the conflict.
If there is none... then I would ensure Outlook is in ONLINE mode and check for the conflict. If no conflict, then you know it is a cache mode corruption and you need to delete the cache and have Outlook create a new one.

Any update?
