KEYBOARD ISSUES WHEN USING RDP ON PARALLELS

I have a macbook air running parallels , When I access RDP through this for some reason the shift key suddenly becomes non functioning as well as the command for screenshot . Command -Shit -4 just hangs until you press escape . I am unable to enter passwords because i cannot use caps or special characters
Any suggestions ?
