Hello Everyone,

I can't find the proper link to create a new drop box account and get the 20GB of free space.
Every link i found they ask to pay. Does anyone have the link i need to open a drop box account for free please ?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Italiabella,
The free version is called Dropbox Basic and it has just 2GB, not 20GB. Download the installer from here:
https://www.dropbox.com/downloading

I haven't done this in a while, and they may have changed it since I last did it, so I don't know exactly what's going to happen when you run the installer, but just follow the prompts and select the Basic edition when given the choice. Regards, Joe

Joe has right.
Free Dropbox offer only 2 GB space.
If you need more you need to pay for it

They've never offered 20 GB for free to normal users, but you can get up to 16 GB free if you refer people to the service.  https://www.dropbox.com/help/54

There was a time when college (.edu) addresses could win a college cup and get 25 GB for free, but you needed a college email address and it was only good for 2 years. https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/9131
