Cannot record Counter Strike with OBS 18.0.1 - too slow
The user has Windows 10, Intel Core i5-6400 2.7 GH, 8 GB RAM, 64 Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Dual Monitors, both attached to NVIDIA. Both monitors are around 21 inches or so.
He is having trouble recording Counterstrike using OBS 18.0.1
He says that he normally runs the games at 150-200 FPS. Once OBS starts recording, the FPS drops to 30 and under, the recorded video of the game is very choppy, as is the game itself. Without OBS the game runs fine.
Are there any settings or system requirements that would help?
Any services to turn off, etc. ?
