new monitor does not fit old computer- is there a way to connect it with different wires?

i think this monitor should work, just not seeing where it connects to my graphic card (PNY from geforce)

see attached photos which better describe my problem!

monitor - DELL UltraSharp 2005FPW

and just in case...
mobo- asus p5gdc-v deluxe

You need a DVI to VGA adapter like below

this was not the right hdmi cable.

the hdmi slot is VERY small....any ideas??
