Object Access File System "File Server - Windows Server 2008"

Hi Everyone,

We have a domain on Server 2008 R2 and we have two file servers (first- file server is Server 2008 SP2 and second file server is Server 2008 R2).

We enabling audit object access via GPO. When we run rsop.msc both servers have the same settings from the same policy. We are not getting audits from the first file server but second file server works with no issues. When I run (auditpol /get /category:"object access" on the first file server all of my settings are set to No Auditing and on the second file server we have "File System, Handle Manipulation, File Share, Other Object Access Events, and Detailed File Share" all set with Success and Failure.

So the question is how come the first file server is not getting the settings via gpo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
