What is the optimum percentage to save images for webs.
Lately, as I save jpgs for websites at 80% my speed tests come back and Yoast as these images being too large.
what is the optimum % to save jpgs so they are looking their best, but don' t lose too much quality?
Thank you

Yeah ok I understand what your saying. I mean wordpress acutally create a number of different sized images, but its that LARGEST one that you have to ensure is the correct size and not TOO BIG for the space its being used for

nice
a) The images are too big for the space allocated on the page and you're scaling them down in HTML. e.g, you're saving images at 800x600 resolution, but displaying them at 300x240. In that case 3/4 of the file is essentially wasted and it makes more sense to save the images at the desired resolution and dimensions.
b) The images are being displayed at full size but the file size is considered excessively large, which could be due to too fine a JPEG quality factor, but might also be due to the file just plain being big.
Which is the situation?
