Safe to uninstall AD CS on Server 2012 R2? Never used.

I started to setup LDAPS and thought I had to have AD CS installed, then realized I did not.  I issued one or two certs testing, realized they wouldn't work correctly then deleted the certs.  Is it OK to uninstall the AD CS role?  This is a DC.  Yes, I realize setting up AD CS on a DC is not a best practice.

Thanks.
