Can't install Windows 7 on Intel NUC

I'm having issues to install Windows 7 64 Pro on a generation 7th Intel NUC i3 NUC7i3BNK, not sure what is the problem here, I have slipstreamed the USB 3.0 drivers and SP2, the problem is when it tries to locate the hard disk, it says " a required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing..." I'm installing from a USB flash drive. I have tried to use the Intel drive AHCI but no luck, the funny thing is that when I try to browse the storage driver I can see the hard disk volume, what am'I missing here? This thing is driving me crazy.

John is right, it only supports Windows 10 (64-bit).

if you still want to have Win7 on it, i would take the disk from the nuc, and install on it W7 on another PC
then put it back in the nuc; it will probably boot up - and install the needed drivers
I guess you have used the Intel Tool to slipstream the USB 3.0 drivers...if you used a 3rd party tool probably it will fail...and do check your image...preferably get a fresh untouched one and use the tool to do the slipstreaming and try again.
Here is a blog post about installing Windows 7 on NUC

Thanks for the update. You can always have Windows 7 as a virtual machine. I do that for the times I may need Windows 7
So i was right again but NO points....maybe i should change my answering style...:)
