Right Click > Properties won't open Windows 10
Hi All,
I am having a strange issue with Windows 10, where whenever you right click a folder or application, all the options in the context menu works (run as administrator/open etc) apart from properties, when you click it nothing happens.
The only one that seems to work is going to the properties of This PC.
I have tried to run sfc /scannow, this through an error saying Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. I ran the following command in cmd as administrator 'sc config trustedinstaller start=auto' then restarted the trusted installer service, which starts perfectly, but i still get the same error.
I ran the following dism command 'dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth'
This also doesn't work in safe mode, no errors seam to appear in the logs, so im not entirely sure now where to go, i cannot even open printer properties. I don't particularly want to clean install windows but if that's what i have to do, i will.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks
